Then I guess I'm a silly little girl. Obviously you've spoken to every person who has bought a ticket. Your talents never cease to amaze me.

I'm going to see half of Queen next week, and as clearly indicated on the bill there is nobody replacing Freddie Mercury, but rather (what's left of) Queen plus someone.

Enjoy watching your DVDs for the 1000th time. Too bad I won't be around to hear your exciting news updates as I'll be busy seeing Brian May play live.

My sentiments exactly........(just replace 'next week' with 'next month' in my case..)
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

Ha ha well you have your cheap beef burger Mr. wizard and i will have the expensive steak
watching Queen on full throttle on my dvd, and personally i would not not waste my time and effort
to see a group so fragile as they are now with out Freddie and Deacy.
you obviously have money to burn matey.

Why do people go to concerts?? Isn't it to be thoroughly entertained and to have a good time? Okay. I love watching AL perform. But I wanted to go the opening night of his Glam Nation Tour and I didn't know anyone else who liked AL. So I begged one of my friends (who didn't like AL at all) to go and even paid for her ticket and our hotel room. My friend said, "I will go the concert but if I feel like I want to vomit, I am going to leave." (They were her exact words.)

When Adam came onto the stage I could that she was completely transfixed. By the end of the concert she said sheepishly, "Well, I MAY go to another of his concerts."

Well yeah she tolerated adam which is more than i could ever do, but i guess the younger people will like
him better than the older generation who were brought up idolising Freddie Mercury like myself.
no disrespect to adam but for me he just changes the feel of Queen and the ambience is not regal
anymore, like when Freddie was around.
We all miss Freddie so very very much, its not the same.

I would quite happily go to see Queen+ Adam Lambert. It's a chance to here the songs played live, by two of the people who wrote them.

I think the excitement of a live show is nearly always better than listening to CD or watching a DVD. With AL they're taking the songs in a slightly different direction, just as they did with Paul Rodgers and just as BM and RT have done on their own solo tours

AL can sing, it's down to personal taste as to whether you like the sound he creates.

Again I don't think anyone who goes to these shows are expecting to see a better version of Queen than Queen were back in the day.

I don't think it's fair to judge AL on when he got into Queen. It you're going to do that, then no person under 30 can call themselves a real fan
