I had only recently joined up here after cutting my teeth on the hub, you have a great memory in fairness. Hopefully we will meet in Madigans again some day if they play here again.

I was at the very last "Python" show at the 02 Arena & Jim Beach (producer of the Show) joined the Python's on stage at the very end. Obviously while the Monty Python shows were happening in London, Jim was not on North American soil.. I wonder if he will now jet over and join the band for the rest of the tour in August/ September?

Jim has known the Python's for years..I read in the first of Michael Palin's Diaries, where he Jim was at a party with them.
Joyful the sound

Thanks for the responses guys, not being a particularly knowledgeable Python fan, I did not know the connection. As for the show, it was pretty cringeworthy, except the times they went off script, forgot lines, or creased up. I hated the dancers, the I like Chinese thingy, but loved the dead parrot for the 1,000,000 time. And didn't sport JB on the stage at the end, otherwise this entire thread would be redundant :)

Hi all, I've just been watching the Monty Python reunion show here in the UK, and while I knew beforehand of the Arlene Philips connection, apparently the producer of the show is one Jim Beach, as stated in the closing credits. Just wondering if it is the illustrious bloke who never made Freddie boring. Anyone know?[/QUOTE]
there are less obvious links between Queen & The Pythons
