Yes, this is the tape that has that noise problem. If someone is a magician in improving the sound, that would be great.[/QUOTE]
Very unlikely. This is from a poor VHS playback. You'd need the original tape, which is probably in fine shape. The heads of the VCR just weren't aligned right (or possibly just a bit dirty), so it just needs a new transfer.
Thanks for getting this out there !

That's not quite true. The same VCR was used for transfering more tapes that day and only this tape came out with a bad sound

Aha - then in that case it's an issue with the tracking control, and you'd need the same kind of VCR that made the original copy.

This documentary has a bit more pre Knebworth footage and in this footage you can really tell Freddie is a bit nervous :-) That alone makes this footage priceless.
Also a beautiful aerial Knebworth shot and a bit of Freddie and Brian during - I think - hammer to fall. It's pretty obvious Doro has a good deal of Knebworth footage that'd make a great bonus for the audio release of this show.
The fact they failed to properly film it while everything was in place to do so actually makes it all the more legendary.
We still get the picture thanks to the doro footage and of course the amateur big screen shot.
Sorry about bringing this up again but Knebworth is a special one for me (and many others).

No need to be sorry. It´s one of my favorites as well. I have the Knebworth footage from "Magic Years" - downloaded from YT - on my mp3 player. It´s magical indeed!

Maybe now that it´s shared, someone can share the best version avaiable.
This is a fantastic documentary, there´s something about Mary (pun intended!) when she speaks of Freddie. She just glows!
And by the way, the Innuendo interviews are just screaming to be released. Maybe the final John interviews for a Queen release, and it´s great to hear their opinions about Freddie while he was still alive. Great stuff!

Big Thanks.
But why it was not released in those days?

Thanks dave76 for the share, can't wait to watch this properly!
I've run the entire audio through a high-quality declicker, and the results are much more listenable (though there's probably some loss of detail, I haven't done a proper A-B comparison).
Here's a sample:

MP3 Link (As the original audio is only 128kbps AC3):

I can upload in FLAC too if wanted but that may take some time.
