Yes, this is the tape that has that noise problem. If someone is a magician in improving the sound, that would be great.[/QUOTE]

Very unlikely. This is from a poor VHS playback. You'd need the original tape, which is probably in fine shape. The heads of the VCR just weren't aligned right (or possibly just a bit dirty), so it just needs a new transfer.

Thanks for getting this out there !

Yes, Bob is completely correct the audio artifacts are simply down to bad equipment used in the transfer, you could not blame the person who transferred this the equipment let them down, picture quality is pretty damn good.

This is a great historical document regardless of it's flaws and I for one am very happy to have it.

Looking very forward to this video since I´ve heard about it´s existence about a year ago. I think it was one of the well known treasures of some die hard rarities fan circle... till now!!!

Thanks so much!

Thanks everyone for all the nice compliments and thank you's . Yes, the quality of this tape is in the way i received it. Not the best, i know that and It has problems with the sound but the footage makes up for it i guess. It's a massive hit on my torrent client and i will keep seeding it for you guys. As for zippo112, thanks for your kind words regarding RafaelSomma. He didn't thank me and i don't care. I know that he will be getting this gem and i don't care for that either. It will be all over the internet within days i assume. The only thing i DO care about is that the people who are nice to me get the chance to have their hands on something nice. The thank you's and the kind comments will do just fine for at the end of the day. I'm sure some more nice things could be out in the future. Now we have the Rainbow project to look forward too and in the mean time, enjoy this nice little gem. It was my pleasure to share it with you guys and finally something worth while.

First of all, I've apologized for my reaction. Second, I'm very happy it was released by you guys, great work. Third, without entering the details of my personal life, I had other things on my mind today...so before saying things just let people be aware that it's available.

Thanks again, but in the first place why the doc was cancelled?

It's ok, enjoy it. I have no idea why it was cancelled but i guess the band wasn't satisfied with the material and decided to take it back. Maybe someone here knows the reason.

Thank you!

Although I've got to look for an alternate source. Has itbeen uploaded to YT?

First of all dave76 i can't even express how grateful i personally am, that this doc has surfaced, cannot wait to finally see it, i heard rumours a while back that certain footage was cut from various pieces to keep for a big Freddie Documentary for 95 but was never released! As far as im aware, (and ive done some digging) i cannot seem to find a reason!

Thanks very much again for this!!!! I find it extraordinary that even after 40 years of Queen has passed, good hearted individuals are still finding precious gems that for some reason has not seen the light of day!

This is amazing. Thanks so much for this.
Any way the wind blows...

Hey Dave, if there is any way your source can get a cleaner re-transfer of just the VHS audio track and send it my way, I can work on syncing that to the video and put out a revision encode. The video itself is pretty good.

One other thing I've noticed particularly during the party segment: It's evident on "Let's Turn It On" that only one audio channel out of a 2-channel stereo track is present, leaving it mono while missing out on stereo elements as a result. Could that be also looked into being fixed?
