Can I ask how does ac3 end up in flac?
There will not be enough room on a DVD-5 for LPCM, and is the flac actually any better sounding than your mp3?

The audio editor I was using couldn't open the ac3 file, so I had to transcode it to FLAC. I've shared a FLAC version so that people can have a version without loss of quality from compressing it for a second time. Yes I'm afraid I used quite an aggressive setting, I was really aiming more for listenability rather than preserving the details, but perhaps I went a little too far. You could always use a mix of the two versions to try and balance the original problem and the artifacts. The problem's much more complicated than simple clicking, I wouldn't know how to deal with it properly!

How can the original DoRo VHS tape have the same sound problems when Pittrek admited that it was his tranfer that messed the sound?

That clip has noticeable audio problems as well - although the uploader has tried to filter them.

The uploader didn't do anything with the sound. It's just the same as on the DoRo VHS tape.
