whoever transferred it, should have used the mono audio track instead of the HiFi of the VHS tape , which created that sound problem. A new mono transfer should be done from the tape, which will have less dynamics and clarity, but wont have that noise .

Oh that's interesting, thanks for the tip, I'll try that if I ever get a similar problem.

Any news about the fixed audio version? Can´t wait to download the DVD.
Sorry I've been busier than anticipated, particularly at home with the family. Also had a show I performed at last weekend, which didn't leave much for time and energy to deal with all these side projects. I should have free time later on this this week to work on this. Apologies for the delays.
Fantastic... thanks again for the efforts. Looking very forward to that project!

try this one as alternative. no use cleaning up a bad transfer. might need adjustment .

^ Thanks a lot.
The syncing takes a bit of skill but it knocks the spots off the previous audio.
I take it you supplied the original tape for transfer?

Thank you.
Thanks!
Sorry for bumping the thread, but is somebody has done a cover art for the DVD? Or is there one available somewhere?
I echo the heartfelt thanks of everyone else to Dave76 for making this available to the world.
With all the photos available out there, and photoshop, I would think that just about anyone can make up their own cover art. I'm still downloading, but I'll try and figure out my version after I watch the videos.

Sorry for asking again... but is there a near upload of the reworked version without the audio noises?
Seconding above's request. As it is, this share is a fantastic gift. But a reworked version with the cleaned up audio would be something else :-)
This is great!! Never heard of this documental before!
Thanks a lot for sharing this gem, dave!!
