definitely NOT wembley - i was at BOTH concerts - and one thing i remember about wembley is that when queen came on stage there was still quite a bit of daylight. the lighting rig didn't come into it's own until a good way into the gig.

Thanks brenski. Come to think of it now, my physio did mutter something about the band going on to play Rio later on. I just thought he had his years mixed up but maybe it's possible he actually went to one of the Wembley Arena shows on the Works tour in '84 & not Wembley stadium in '86, which would explain the lighting rig thing?? I'll try & clear it up next time I see him.
