Premiere Radio Networks, New York City recently sat down with Brian May and Roger Taylor for an exclusive special on Live at the Rainbow '74. Titled iHeart Radio Icons - Queen: Live at the Rainbow '74 and will air as a one-hour special on Clear Channel Classic Rock and Classic Hits stations this coming weekend - Saturday, August 30th through Monday, 1 September.

This special is hosted by Jim Kerr of WAXQ-FM in New York, and, in addition to the new interview with Brian May and Roger Taylor, which was conducted this past July at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey (just prior to the Queen + Adam Lambert show).

It features many songs off Live at the Rainbow. Plus, we revisit last year's memorable iHeartRadio Music Festival with performances of "Fat Bottomed Girls," "Bohemian Rhapsody" and more,

Written and produced by Sal Cirrincione.

The stations and airing times to follow.

Premiere is the largest radio syndicate in the U.S. and a division of Clear Channel Entertainment, the largest broadcast media outlet in the U.S.

Did anybody listen in? I didn't get home in time unfortunately :(

I listened to the stream this morning. They had a decent new interview with Roger and Brian. No new, earth-shattering info, but it was a nice discussion of the release. They played a few things from the rainbow (killer queen/black queen medley, stone cold crazy, now I'm here, and a few others). They also played some QAL tracks from the iheartradio concert.

I listened to the San Deigo stream live yesterday morning. If you look at the link above, there should be some Monday shows to listen to. I did not record it.
