Hello everyone! Happy new year! Thank you for the comments! I'm happy to know that you liked these three songs, it's a good signal!
I was hopping to finish the whole album before Christmas, then New Year... now I don't know when. Just too much time working on it and I can't wait to finish it and re-do ADatR, HS, and explore 'Innuendo'. My goal is to do this three albums and at least two more this year.
Beta, thanks for your observation! But that's actually the guitars distortion, which is in the original version too. I think those are guitars mixed with backing vocals (I swear I can hear Roger in the right channel).
Vali, that piano is really interesting to me too! It was a nice discover. I never knew it has one there. It was already there, but deeply buried. I enhanced the corresponding frequencies to make it louder, but I'm not completely sure if those were the "real" notes... I believe yes, but it's a bit up to my imagination, so I highlighted the corresponding frequencies to the notes I think that are correct lol!
TMotBQ has some stunting guitars hidden, but one catched my atenttion. So amazing.
I bring to you the second preview today: OB-TFFMS-Nevermore
I don't have the complete changes, but you'll notice them, but overall I can say that OB sound more agressive, lots of buried guitar bits (mainly at the "battle" part) have been restored, the toms and the bass have more weight, the hi-hat is more heavy, enhanced the drums room, and some mono vocals have been enhanced in stereo, the guitar have a more agressive distortion (the original was a bit fluffy), a lot of saturation was removed (mainly at the battle screams), and I've restored the the gong hidden lows (the information was there).
TFFMS had an EQ change, more details on the surface, and I enhanced the piano in the left channel. The tickling intro is four "ticks" longer.
Nevermore has more weight on the piano, the annoying extreme right panned bass has been now centered and is more embracing, the mono centered backing vocals have been made stereo, the mono panned backing vocals have been enhanced, and the guitar at the climax part has a main role now.
What a beautiful album, sublime, no words. Beautiful stories, imagine the whole songs scenarios. This album is a magic fairytale, the one I always think of every time I listen to TSMGO's "Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die".
Please, don't forget to point out everything you find wrong in these new mixes.
Cheers!
PD: I didn't know that OB had double bass at the battle part.

And here is the buried guitar I was talking about, from TMotBQ. Is there in the right channel. Once you hear it in this snippet, you'll always hear it in the original song.
TMotBQ SPOILER ALERT!!!

The preview sounds amazing! You should really take your time, the deadline is not what is important.

I have no suggestions but a request: can you create a stand-alone version of nevermore, that starts without the segue from The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke?
Great work!

TMOTBQ sounds absolutely stunning. Really can't wait for that one

What a great sound! Just fantastic.
Matt, one thing... it seems to me transition from backwards intro to the body of OB is not that great. Possibly the difference in volume. Please check it out.

Amazing, really amazing.
TMOTBQ seems to be a masterpiece. Can't wait to hear it all, but as discosucks said, deadline is not important at all.
I like a lot the bass line from TFFMS going from down to top (6:23-6:25) I think i'd be great if it could be heard a little more prominent.
THANK YOU!!

Again... So much work has been done. This is really priceless.

The claps around the 4.35 mark (start of TFFMS) are drowned out :( Can they be made clearer?

I'm anxiously waiting to start a new QueenZone... I wrote a very large comment and it didn't even get published in blank.
The best is, because I'm writing this in my phone, I couldn't recover my funny and full of kindness (?) comment.
Basically, that I'm hoping to hear your version of Black Queen and Let Me In. And if you could do, in the next remaster or in this, instrumental versions of the songs on QII.

Hello everyone! I'm working at full speed on the album... but hell, it takes a long and hard time (reading this twice reminds me of Michael Scott... best comedy show ever). Time flies, really. Here I bring you TMotBQ/FHLI. This second one took me a lot of time and was really difficult to make it work, because it has too many elements only in two channels and the voicals are really sunken, but a main improvement can be noticed.
About 'Nevermore', I was thinking of doing the standalone version without the segue, because is absolutely another piano take and it always seemed to me a bit uncanny. So, that's done!
TFFMS: Claps, done. Plus I made louder the guitars at "soldier, sailor...". Sadly, the bass part can't be louder since it's muddy and will mess up a bit the song for those few seconds. OB: Less volume difference, done too.
The instrumental sounds really interesting, but I can't do anything without the multitracks on this album. I can see if some sort of karaoke can be done with NotW. I'll do 'Let Me In' when 'The Works's time comes. But I was thinking about doing a little EQ to make it sound like the BBC version, which had more body and was less compressed. Also I may do a quick re-EQ for the November Rainbow night, since is muddy. It can be done in just a few hours, but is not as accurate as this revisions.
The hardest album up to date, it's just so spectacular to never stop noticing new elements. Very little time for the "official" upload. Well, the changes can be noticed for those queen-trained ears... better if you can notice them by yourself! Then I'll do the changelog. Again, please, say anything you think may can change for better, and enjoy this songs very very much!

Also, something I forgot from my lost comment: If you have any way to mask that backing vocals distorted by the guitars, which I mentioned earlier. They are very painful.
And if you love your No Fade Out Mixes, keep implementing them in next albums. :)
