Nothing new and exciting but still interesting to collectors...Reportedly Best contains new liner notes from Roger Taylor himself...Could be cool

Recently I thought about the possible compilation following The Lot release... and now the time has come.

But I think 2CD set featuring RMT and The Cross material would be more representative.

It would be great if they will finally release Nazis 1994 'F-word' version on this CD... :)

what the hell... how can you start the compilation with Future Management! That is not an opener. I agree mixing it completely would have also been inconsistent since Roger's style in the 80s is nothing like the 90s-10s.

But I think Strange Frontier or Man On Fire should have easily been picked to lead off the set.

Strange not to see any Cross stuff on there. Also strange? The release date listed in a Monday which is not the typical US release day of the week, a Tuesday.

^ am I mistaken in believing that THE CROSS was issued (if EVER) through VIRGIN records in the USA?

(Probably also doesn't want to share royalties)


My youthful eidetic memory remembers the imprint from a fan site. I've never physically seen a CROSS album in the US

Strange that no 'Pressure On' has been picked for this, considering that it was a single, while deep cuts like 'Where Are You Now', 'Beautiful Dreams' and 'Magic Is Loose' have made it.

Yes they have, good sir! "Shove It" definitely was, not entirely sure about MBaDtK, will have to double check that one, but in the meantime this attached picture from my own collection shows the UK and (promotional) US LP releases :)

I remember reading somewhere that MBDADTK and Blue Rock were both never released in the US............


Sounds like a cool compilation anyway, I might just buy it!

Maybe, they'll release a best of The Cross compilation later on?
