Queen New Name

Hi guys this is my first post!!! I am a huge Adam Lambert fan (Glambert!!!) and I am delighted that all you Queen fans now appreciate what an amazingly incredible voice and stage presence Adam has. I love the fact that you now consider Adam as a part of Queen!!! (and all the posts on this website it puts a smile on my face, I'm sure it would also for Adam!!!) I also am a Queen fan and love all their army of songs like I Want To Break Free, Radio Ga Ga, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions (who doesn't know that song?!!!). They were an amazing band and so were the other members too (Brian May, Paul Deacon and Roger Taylor) and not just Freddy!!!

Now that Adam Lambert has been established in perspective as one of the most incredible singers, Queen should now consider changing their name?!!!

After some thought I had come up with the following as suitable alternatives:

1) "Gleen" - combining the tasteful "Glambert" pun and of course the "een" from "Queen"

2) "Aleen" - again similar to the above, this time the 'A' representing "Adam", and "een" representing "Queen". I think at this stage, Adam Lambert can be referred to as only "Adam".

Do you think this should now happen? Or that albums should released, rebranded as say "Gleen" or "Aleen".

Paul Deacon and "Freddy", who ever they are? were not members of Queen. Are you sure you've got the right band!

Yeah! Please tell me this is a troll..!! Paul Deacon, really?? Changing the name!? NEVER! Freddy!!? No! It's Freddie! And Adam is NOT a member of Queen! He is Just a tag along, just like Paul Rodgers..

i think there's one name that sums up the whole project:
it's catchy, has just the right combination of both artist's branding ...and carries just the level of insult the endeavour demands:

Anyway, if they would do any further collaborations with Lambert, it will be under the name "Queen + Adam Lambert", and nothing else. I hope.

I think that if they, and they are Brian and Roger and if they, that is Brian and Roger will continue with Adam, they, that is Brian and Roger should change the name into Smile + Adam Lambert. As they, Brian and Roger that is are the original members of Smile. But newbie, welcome, but please don't think that Adam is a new member of Queen, no John of in your case Paul and Freddy there is no Queen.

Wouldn't it make more sense for Adam Lambert to change his name to Freddie Mercury, and then Queen wouldn't have to change their name? Roger also needs to change his name back to Meddows-Taylor and John to Deacon John, otherwise they will have to call themselves Smile and Lambert can then call himself whatever he likes :)

Shouldn't that be change his name to FREDDY Mercury and John to Deacon PAUL? While they're all changing Brian could call himself Badger May?

Can I suggest the band could be Smile Bert.
