Hello !

Recently, I've been watching Days of Our Lives (2011) documentary and at the very beginning of the first episode there is a snippet of a concert which I think hasn't been released officially or on a bootleg, or am I wrong ??

I've attached snapshot taken from 00:37-00:39 part of the documentary.

Cheers !

I may be wrong, but I think it's the 1977 rehearsal footage (NOTW Tour).
Any thought?

It's believed to be Houston '77, possibly Fort Worth? It's part of the unreleased doc by Bob Harris.

My biggest gues is Houston someone could compare RT his clothing.

The one camera Bob Harris got one at least filmed shots from the audience. This one could have moved around later.

There is nothing from Fort Worth in the archives.

Edit : at Houston RT wears a white shirt at the start of the show and later he changes for a black shirt. So Houston seems to be the most plausible option.

1 we know it was filmed by Harris lroof shows a other single moving camera (wwry fast)
2 there are no other live recordings from Harris
3 Forth Worth is lost or taped over or thrown away or recorded as a test. Or Harris mistaken himself by saying to the fanclub magazine that is was filmed and in the end it wasn't filmed at all.

Of course it could be from any other show. But that's not likely.

Do we have a PROOF that Bob Harris and his crew filmed also a DIFFERENT concert than Houston?

Didn't Bob Harris say himself that he and his crew recorded Fort Worth and LA gigs ?
We need Rhys Thomas to get back to the Queen camp. As a Queen fan I think that he persuaded BM+RT+JB that the material from the 70's is worth releasing.
I've recently spotted on the Wembley (25th anniv.) credits that he was one of the producers. I think that during his work for Queen Prod. he presented very well die-hard fans' point of view and contributed to the fact, that all the releases related to the Queen 40th anniversary project are/were tremendous.
Although I get a feeling that 2016 will be a year when Queen will announce...........wait for it........30th anniversary of Wembley (maybe Blu-ray) :)

Blu Ray? It can be only an SD Blu Ray in such case, which wouldn't look much better than what we already have, basically it would be the same over again. I'd rather have Hyde Park released.

ONE MORE TIME :

Harris stated he recorded FORTH WORTH , but in the official archives there is NO forth Worth, or any other complete US 77-78 show ! Perhaps some boring snippets. But nothing suiteble for any kind of release !!!!

You may be right that there is no Fort Worth "IN THE OFFICIAL ARCHIVES".......it doesn't mean it doesn't exist either in BBC or Harris' own archives.

It would look a bit better, as the sd Blu Ray of Rainbow looks a bit better than the dvd, I think.
But an uncrompressed and maybe, if they find the tapes, remixed surroundsound would make it a great release! It is a shame, that the bonus dvd of the first night sounds so much better than the famous event!
