Bob Harris told me that after Houston they went to Las Vegas with the band and he and Roger went from one bar to the next down the Strip - diagonally and over 3 days (!). Whether or not the Las Vegas show was filmed he didn't say but I would guess they did filming with/of the band otherwise why go there - unless all filming was finished and they were hanging out with them. So it's possible there is footage from this show, within the "hundreds of hours of footage" they shot. To have a four hour interview with Fred shot at that time must be amazing viewing... Bob and team were editing in Soho when two guys arrived and took all the footage away. He said they had just got it into some semblance of order too...

If it's taken him 35 years to get it to that level, then he deserves it taking off him.

Er, they took it off him back then. Then it went into the vaults all these years...
How did the 1977 Bob Harris (BBC) footage end up in the Queen Archive? Bob and the camera operators were all paid BBC employes so all of the footage would be owned by the BBC. Was it donated to Q.P by the BBC?
