What a letdown! the whole thing is just a compilation album with 3 new songs? what a RIPOFF!! I was hoping for a good album, but i guess not.

They seem to have no concept of their legacy, and what a superb album this might have been, the mixes are amateurish, William Orbit ! Give me a break !! When I first saw that mentioned I feared the worst, much better remixes on the great pretender album, maybe its time to do that with Queen tracks, give them to top producers ala Nile Rodgers and bring Queen into the 21st century, something the kids can relate to, and start a next generation of fans, now that's something Freddie would be up for.

Brian and Roger collectively put half an ass into this project. But it will sell you watch. I only want LMIYHA. The other two tracks are disappointing drivel

What they could have done is put THEIR preferred version of TMBMTLTT on the 2nd disc and maybe an unaltered version of LMIYHA on there as well to at least give us some incentive to buy the 'deluxe' 2 CD album.
Now what incentive is there to spend the additional money to get that?! The 3 unreleased songs are all on the 1 disc edition. Do these guys think commercially in any way, shape or form? It's not like there isn't the space on the discs - most of us don't need to have the umpteen versions of the same songs.
Only if there is some 'new' takes of already released songs (like it indicated in the press release) is there any reason why I would opt for the 2 discs. Maybe there will be the piano version of Is This The World We Created on there that has been long rumoured. There bloody needs to be anyway!

Okay.............just heard Let Me In and Love Kills..............I agree with the general consensus on Let Me In.............very nice! And I gotta say, I DISagree with the opinions of Love Kills..........I'm totally liking it! Kinda wish they had 'rocked it up' a tad more, but it's excellent! Very underwhelmed by the tracklisting, though.......

Gary Taylor stated via facebook that we can expect alternative takes and re-takes of well-known tracks !!
So.... maybe they DIDNT'd waste these 3 years :) Of course, releasing album consisting only of unreleased/finished demos could top the Rainbow release.
Cheer up guys and have faith in Gary's words. He surely listened to the album and if he's right, than this album is worth buying.

Despite all negativity regarding "Queen Forever" (yes, it's a compilation, only three new tracks etc.) I quite like the concept / the song selection.
And the new tracks are good (the MJ duet) or just stunning (the other two new ones).
And I still hope for some good reworked "old" tracks.
