Wow. How things change! Suddenly we're disappointed at the prospect of Queen + X announcing a tour???

I still remember December 10th, 2004. First Queen tour in 19 years was announced. 10 years and 11 shows later, I'm still thrilled at the prospect of them touring.
Do you think they'll add some tracks off Queen Forever to the setlist?

I am still very excited at the prospect of a new tour, Wiley. Many of us are. We may not be the most vocal ones around lately, that's all.

Saludos!

I don't need a tour. Tour would start without me and many others....there are plenty of cheaper coverbands around

Me too. But here are a few other dark horses. Sequel to We Will Rock You musical or Biopic back from the dead.

Seriously ?

News flash - it's not a cover band if it contains original members of the band. It's the two people who formed Queen playing Queen songs. Is Yes a cover band now? Chicago? Journey? Pink Floyd? Who makes these executive decisions over what a cover band is and isn't?

Does anyone remember 10-15 years ago when people would have killed to have Brian and Roger play together in ANY capacity? Not tour. Just play. How exciting it was when Brian joined Roger at a solo show in Wolverhampton 1999 for three songs, or when they played six songs together on the tenth anniversary of Freddie's death?

Since then they have done several world tours, but some people will just never be pleased. Even if they performed a resurrection people would still complain that Freddie had aged a bit.

Another news flash - 15 years from now, virtually all of the members of rock bands from the 60s-70s will be dead or retired. Enjoy what you can while you still can.

Paul Rodgers is back? Wish he was because I have no intention of seeing Adam Lambert front the band. He killed the Sonisphere gig in 2012. I thought the Queen Extravaganza was formed because 'Queen' didn't tour anymore. Surely this a case of where the cover band is better than the present incarnation of the band because Martel is superior to Lambert as a vocalist and frontman.

With Brian May?
He's the only reason I would see QAL, and I'd go see him no matter who was standing beside him.

Rumors of a gig at the O2 in London 17th January, Milan has been mentioned too.

Russian Headlong, remember that a band also has other members besides the vocalist. Those happen to be B and R. And others too, of course, but I don't care much.

About Queen Extravaganza, I saw them twice when Jeff Scott Sotto was a member and he outshined Martel and everybody else by miles. Jeff is brilliant, Martel is very good as well, but guess who B and R chose to work with? Some Lambert guy. It is their band, so maybe they can choose? And I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by Adam on the last tour.

I would give (another) rib to see them live again, as I broke one during the US tour.

Cheers,

jeff scott soto is great too, better than lambert. I was lucky to see queen with fred and pr but I wouldn't waste my time seeing them with adam lambert. lets face it bm and rt have had some shocking 'guest' vocalists, Robbie Williams, will young, Jessie j,
