Well, the announcement is indeed a UK and European tour, 21 dates in all, with pre-sale at 11am today. I for one am very, very happy, can't wait until the 13th Jan to see them in Newcastle!

Italy:

2005: 4 Q+PR shows
2008: 2 Q+PR shows
2015: only 1 Q+AL show...

What a difference in their expectations. In addiction to this no show is planned in Spain, unlike the previous Q+PR tours.

The cause? Lambert sucks. He was fine to sell tickets in the USA, where people are addicted to shitty music.
I'm happy that Europe is still very different from USA.

Or could it be that the promoter did not think they'd sell tickets in these countries because of the economy.

I understand people love criticising Lambert, but the Spanish and Italian markets aren't great for live shows.

Take Springsteen, for example. In 2013, he played just one Spanish show, even though the country has tradtionally been an easy sell for him.

I'll be at the O2, and maybe one other date (Brussels?), and will hopefully get some footage to contribute.

The tour's going to sell very well, and you'll be eating your words soon enough, so get lost and take your negativity away with you while you're at it.

My gig is just 35 minutes( car) away....:) and four realistic options if the date doesn`t fit for me....I guess it will be the last time to see them in bigger venues....
Munich - Cocaine and low taxes ! You can add me on FB - Musicland Munich QZ - don`t miss the QZ !

Are Australia addicted to shitty music? Japan? New Zealand? What a stupid and rather ignorant generalisation. Oh, and they are playing QUEEN music. Is that shitty enough for you?

Spain isn't the best place right now so i can understand that decision. Of course for spanish fans is sad.

I hope Glambert is ill during the performance in Amsterdam and digital Freddie will be replaced.
Sounds great isn't it ?

Economy doesn't affect Music so much, at least not for a Queen tour. Did you know that there's been an increment in the selling of the CDs in Italy during the 2013? +6/7 %. And it's the same for vinyls too.
So if people want to spend money to buy music / attend some show they do it.

Robert Plant gets sold out shows every time he plays here in Italy.
Same for our Italian rockers, like Vasco Rossi or Ligabue (they sells out whole stadiums of 80.000-100.000 seats, and the prices are not lower than the Queen ones).

Queen play in "small" places, 15.000 seats per sport palace about.
Selling a lot of tickes should not be a big problem if you do a long awaited tour. Phaller Williams just played 2 sell outs shows in Milan, a few days ago...

So if Queen planned just 1 date this is due to the lack of interest.
