Brian May & Kerry Ellis First Listen

I am listening to "The Kissing Me Song" by Brian May & Kerry Ellis, what do you think?

Just a nice funny song, nothing more, nothing less...

The acoustic guitar in it sounds very similar to the intro to QPR Surfs up schools out.

I think most of us heared this a long time ago for the first time.

I think the kissing song is a load of crap and Brian just puts out these crap albums with Kerry Ellis.
The candle lit album which was all acoustic was not the Brian we all love and i am sure that album flopped miserably.

before you score points i meant candle light album not candle lit album, keypad playing up.

Not a bad release, fond of "Life Is Real" and a few others. Nice to find local artisans to do May / Ellis justice in concert around here,

Incidentally, the Brian you apparently know and love is touring these days with Roger, and you don't seem to like that, either.

The Real Wizard: Brian May has been in the business for over 40 years so he does not have to grow
he knows his stuff, so quite a dumb answer.
I still love May & Taylor as they are brilliant musicians but AL stops me wanting to see them again.
You have to admit Kerry Ellis is boring and poor Brian has once again got lost in something that really
is not him. I did prefer him with the lovely Anita Dobson.

Agree with you for once.

Am I in a minority or something here...............but I like Kerry Ellis...........think she's got a great voice.............Anthems is a good album.............(if a bit too heavy on the uh.........show-tune type stuff for my tastes........but I like Dangerland and the cover of Diamonds Are Forever............)

What? Yeah, he knows his stuff, but that doesn't mean he can't or shouldn't grow and try new things. Weren't Queen all about breaking boundaries and trying new things?

Also, the guy who performs with Kerry Ellis is the Brian we know and love, like it or not. And I don't understand how his stuff with Kerry "isn't him." Why would he do something at this point in his career that he doesn't want to do?

Gerry, so GE, did you actually go to any of the acoustic candle light shows? The reason I ask is because you yet again seem to have formed an opinion while being totally uninformed about what you are writing
