GT mentioned somewhere ( filmed interview) that even the Wembley 86`gig was in danger to miss one or two songs, because of they had to "change the cameras reels/tapes" but Freddie was vetoing... " No, everthing should be filmed"...
Maybe in Montreal they didn`t care about these two songs.

Correct; original quotes came from the director Gavin Taylor during the documentary that appears on the 2003-issue Wembley DVD.
And maybe this songs was in danger to miss would be the covers
That's interesting.. so did Jailhouse Rock open the shows like it did with other shows of that era?
No, Jailhouse Rock was just before WWRY/WATC in the first night, you can even see the roses someone threw at Freddie after Bohemian Rhapsody.
Queen and Swimmer weren't in good terms so i believe the footage don't used was discard. Why Swimmer would want the unused footage of four people he can't stand?
Flash and The Hero were filmed but the footage destroyed, i think.

Ah I see. Before THAT WWRY.
Regarding Flash / The Hero, I was understanding that they weren't filmed either. Swimmer wouldn't recognised the footage was an asset and kept it.
Although that said, as we know from Budapest, Queen are capable of some stunning cock ups regarding looking after footage.

I wouldn't blame Queen for that. They were busy grieving the death of Freddie and making the MIH album. Footage of an old concert just wasn't at the top of their priority list in the early 90s.
But old unfinished recordings were?
They brought the old ones in as a means to complete a project which was new to them, and originally based in Freddie's most recent vocal recordings.
There's no video recording of Flash and The Hero. The didn't pass the cutting room and were destroyd. Jailhouse Rock was played after WWRY but, since Fred suitched do shorts instead of trousers, it was moved up a few tracks.
