It's been primarily music and over the last 3 weeks or so the genre has been a majority of classic rock and roll.
KISS (all years and lineups) "All For The Love Of Rock And Roll" is the best song of 2012's "Monster"
Queen + Paul Rodgers "Reaching Out" & "Time To Shine" are standouts
Queen + Adam Lambert "Who Wants To Live Forever" (not even Freddie Mercury could hit those notes live)
Freddie Mercury, Brian May & Roger Taylor Solo Releases "Mr. Bad Guy", "Business" & "Up" respectively
Garth Brooks (new release might outsell Pink Floyd and it's coming out the same day) "People Loving People" new single is taking over the country charts
Taylor Swift (of whom I am listening to now) "Begin Again" is the latest song from her entire catalog in WinAMP presently.
Billy Joel Greatest Hits I, 2 & 3 "You May Be Right" is his best song after "Piano Man"
Blackmore's Night "Dancer And The Moon' Sexy without trying.
Heaven And Hell "Bible Black" really heavy album, probably heavier than Black Sabbath "13" with Ozzy
Black Sabbath "God Is Dead?" from "13"
Ronnie James Dio I spent a good part of my afternoon listening to his entire catalog in shuffle and "Don't Talk To Strangers" is by far my favorite song from Dio, RIP.
Haim (Up and coming trio of sisters) "Falling" is the first and probably best track from their freshman debut.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "U Get Me High" has been out for awhile, am downloading his new album at the present moment too.
ACDC "Play Ball" & "Rock Or Bust" are probably 2014's best classic rock and roll songs and their best since "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)
Rush "Clockwork Angels" in full, not one bad song on the entire full length release.
Aerosmith "Music From Another Dimension" is vastly underrated and I must witness them live before they retire.
Journey Arnel Pineda the current singer is great on 2011's "Eclipse" but is no match for any song of the Steve Perry era, "Precious Time" from "Departure" is the top Journey song played over here in the last week.
Stevie Nicks Her duet with Tom Petty "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" is my favorite.
Chantal Kreviazuk "Souls", "Surrounded", "Waiting For The Sun", "Ghosts Of You", All I Can Do' & "In This Life" excellent songs as I have everything she commercially released.
Melissa Etheridge "Enough Rain" is the best song from "4th Street Feeling" & "This Is M. E." her current two releases.
U2 "Songs Of Innocence" I can't wait for the concerts and the countless bootlegs!!!
Boston (latest release is vastly under par to anything from the 80's and 70's)
Led Zeppelin ("All My Love" live from their last concert)
Page & Plant
Robert Plant (Probably would sound excellent with Blackmore's Night)
Pearl Jam "LIve From The Gorge" 2005 & 2006 & "Given To Fly" is my favorite Pearl Jam song out of all their work.
Vanessa Mae (Classic Violinist) "The Platinum Collection" including "Red Hot" (no not Motley Crue's song)
Sammy Hagar "Lite Roast" took time to appreciate, I get into "Eagles Fly" & "One Sip"
Black Veil Brides "Unholy" with Zack Wylde, a KISS "Revenge" cover originally sang by Gene Simmons.
Verscythe "Unfinshed On Earth" a local band in the thrash metal genre and their original, www.youtube.com/watch?v=7huOj4BLwJc with a singer whom can sing "Separate Ways (World's Apart) by Journey & "Eyes Of A Stranger" by Queensryche" with ease,
W. K. Mahler (me of course) Well, "Teddy's Song" is the
current trending single available in ITunes, Amazon.MP3, 7Digital and dozens of other digital distribution websites globally.
