Following the welcome release of LMIYHA and the re working of Love Kills and indeed the share on Facebook today of the LMIYHA tape box I am again intrigued by those other unrelated songs.
I just listened to Man Made Paradise from FM's Mr Bad Guy for the first in more than 20 years. It's not a bad track at all and again Paul Vincent seems to emulate BM very much. There is a potentially great Queen track unreleased there, I wonder has this ever been heard by Queen fans, Greg Brooks confirms a version of this does exist in the liner notes of the FM box.
The tape box shared on Facebook might also indicate a Queen version of Man On Fire.
In my opinion whilst Freddie's live range was not as great after Hot Space in the studio his voice was at it's best from The Game to The Miracle.
Interesting to hear other thoughts on those tracks, if anyone has actually heard them, and if there might be a potential for further Queen release?

correction, it's not a Hot Space but a Works demo
you can hear a few seconds at the beginning of the clip, taken from the Untold Story

I'd say you only need to hear the guitar on Man Made Paradise from Mr Bad Guy to know that a Queen version exists (or at least a Freddie demo with Brian on), and that it was used as the version for Paul Vincent to work from (ie copy).
The same was proved with She Blows Hot and Cold when the version with Brian on surfaced.

My guess is man on fire is a Queen version with a Roger lead vocal, but well worth releasing, undoubtedly there must be at least 8-10 quality tracks worth working on, and that's all you need for an album, I wouldn't discount reworking one or two of those b sides & Freddie demos either, bottom line is...........is the will to there to do it ?

Besides "Man On Fire"... it is very clear that there is a Queen version in the archives. The solo version features Brian May on guitar so clear... the circle is closed and no real secret, that the song starts as a Queen track. Roger Taylors vocals are fantastic, but I really like to hear Freddies voice with that lyrics.
I´d wrote it again about few days ago... everyone, Greg B., Brian May, Roger Taylor and all at QP knows damn good that there are a lot of tracks of high quality in the vaults and I´m pretty sure there is enough material for three new albums. But to make the most money out of this, it is the best way to release that stuff step by step over the next maybe 5 or 10 years. That is the reason (in my opinion) why a rareties box set will never see the light of day.

3 albums worth of quality material no IMO, but certainly enough for one final Queen album.

Can you imagine how shit the stuff that wasnt good enough to be on Hot Space must be?

If this "shit" is better than "Yellow Breezes" (which imho is a track recorded "for fun") then I'm all ears. Btw, who is responsible for the 2014 mastering on Queen Forever ? The harmonies in the second half of "Save Me" sound clearer to me.

I honestly thing they (BM, RT, Archives) don't give a shit. If they wanted to maximize profit they would have released a new thing every couple of years to please the fan base (the only revenue generator), not every decade. the last time I made a Queen purchase was in 2004, live at the bowl. I have moved on since as an act of fan disobedience to the unloyal remnants of the band formerly known as Queen. Freddie is only a vague memory of the things past, the shock element of his departure are no longer there, the show goes on, the world moved on.

I like Hot Space tour, I am sure the shit they rejected was not funky enough, which means maybe just maybe it had more guitar in it.

Not even the Rainbow release? It's the best Queen release in nearly two decades, and Queen fans are pretty unanimous in drawing that conclusion.

There definitely could be some credence to that, as evidenced by the fact that an early version of Staying Power had a guitar orchestration instead of horns.
I can't possibly imagine how frustrating those sessions must have been for Brian and Roger.

I'm getting that for x-mas to go around my self imposed ban on buying Queen music until the remnants of the band start taking fans seriously again.
