I guess they're still looking to get state of shock & victory out , so that could take another 3 years of negotiations with the Jackson estate !
Not that I'm that bothered.

Uhm...Greatest Video Hits 3?

No, I don't think Queen is that stupid to wait again 3 years. They might release the Freddie only version. Sounds like a good idea. Also TMBMTLTT should be released as a Freddie only version. Furthermore, they can release man on fire (like they showed on queenonline) and man made paradise. Plus some other reworked tracks like sail away sweet sister and spread your wings.

Just sucks that Orbit is attached to this suggested newer release.
What is there to be expected?
Remix with newly recorded variations of
TIME
MAN MADE PARADISE
MR BAD GUY
FOOLIN AROUND
and ROBBERY
All done to disco?
Two years later. ...a Roger demo newly completed?
Jesus.
Oh well. I hope for the best. Expect the least.
Not having TMBMTLTT as a standalone Brian + Roger release is just erroneous. Dunno wtf they're thinking. It's someone at the label pulling these strings or does orbit really have connections to Roger and the two feel that his work here is plausible?
Absurd stuff. Damn.

Jesus ? Is Orbit remixing that ?!!!!!!!!

I wish they would release the Rainbow gig and blow away all our expectations.
Oh, hold on, they just did that. If fans are unhappy just a few months after such an amazing release, then they can never be pleased.
Kick back and take another listen to Rainbow.

Agreed seagull, I think most of us are just pissed by the broken promises of QF ! But your right rainbow is outstanding, fingers crossed for more of the same.

No. I'm just being bitchy.
A sarcastic ' WHAT NEXT? "!
ESPECIALLY IF orbit is attached to work on future releases.

I don't understand why they've signed him on to do more - Brian and Roger said, albeit in a vague way, that they were dissatisfied with his mix of There Must Be More to Life Than This, and if they'd had it their way they would've used their own.

Could be to do more Jacko stuff maybe. I mean the Jacko estate might want him! Plus he's famous of course.

But were they broken promises or did we not understand what they meant and read too much into it? I mean Brian was saying we were getting a compilation album from a long way out. Except I think we thought the 3 new songs he was talking about were like the three new tracks on Made in Heaven. Completely unheard! Whereas they were more like the rest of the tracks on MIH and were reworkings.

I'd be quite happy if MIH2 ever happened............theres at least an albums worth of stuff that could be reworked, or unearthed..............like was said in this topic, Man On Fire, Man Made Paradise.....some of the Miracle/Innuendo-era demos that are floating around........also, I swear I heard a while ago that there was a Queen version of New Dark Ages............or maybe that was just a rumor????? Now THAT would be awesome...............

But would a MIH2 really be that good at this stage? Brian, John and Roger were still creatively and musically brilliant in 1995. Listening to the guitar and drum work on 2014's Love Kills, I really don't think an album of reworked material in the same vein would be a good thing.

I'd rather William Orbit just stayed away from the songs. I wasn't impressed with his mix of Let Me In Your Heart Again at all. Why didn't they push the original version more?
As for There Must Be More To Life Than This, I didn't like it at all.

Yes, but Brian has said there are pieces that have not been heard that can be reconstructed into songs. So I would think that means that there would be unheard of Freddie vocals. That might well get us in!
