If Freddie had still been around then we would not have to put up with this shitty collaboration of Queen / Lambert.
Plus we would have some new brilliant proper Queen albums instead of the crap getting released now.
Freddie would have made a lot of difference if he were still with us all.[/QUOTE]
No shit!!!!
Obviously, if Fred was still around then BM & RT would have no need to promote a tour with Lambert!!!
Sometimes I despair.........(usually with your gems of wisdom Sir Gez)
We all get it. You don't approve of Adam Lambert. Yawn....
And how would you know Fred would not approve of what they chose to do? Did your friend of Wayne Sleep tell you this???

FOUR things wrong with this ^^^ statement:
1] Freddie was nothing like YOU
2] YOU after almost EVERYONE else in the world are the least qualified to say what Freddie liked
3] when i spoke to him recently via an ouija board he actually said: "i think Gerry really is a grade-1 prick"
4] obviously - he did NOT detest assholes (without being too graphic - it's probably his one "love" that brought about his early death
What do you think Freddie would say about the Gezzashite infecting Qzone?

There was plenty of bubblegum pop in the 60s , yet Freddie liked Hendrix and The Beatles. So why would he (hypothetically) like manufactured pop now? Theres a reason he was in a rock band and not some other genre.

would that be the self-same reason that saw his involvement in:
Radio GaGa, I Want To Break free, A Kind of Magic, Back Chat, Dancer, Cool Cat, Staying Power, Dust, Dragon Attack, Dont Stop me Now, KPTOW, Pain Is So Close, One Year of Love, Invisible Man, Rain Must Fall, My baby Does Me, Delilah, All God's People, Man Made Paradise, Let's Turn It On, Mr Bad Guy, Your Kinda Lover, Foolin Around, My Love Is Dangerous, Living On My Own, Great Pretender, and Love Kills.
Fact is: Freddie may have been in a rock band, but his musical evolution was heading more and more toward the synthetic/manufactured sound over the last ten years of his career

good point! In other words.........most of Freddie's solo work was not what would one really call rock......(or hard rock, at least!)
Wasnt Freddie quite a fan of Boy George? And at least enough of a fan of Michael Jackson to have a short-lived collaboration with him........
