I guess it was to make it a better photo..........but they had to have a mirror-image of Knopfler??? I looked at that photo, and I was like, "wait a minute, he's not left-handed!"

I laught with the image hahahahaha
Dire Straits any day. Knopfler's still got it, saw him live one or two years ago.
Dire Straits. Sorry, I love Queen, but Sultans of Swing is just better.
Not Plutus but Apollo rules Parnassus
Definitely Dire Straits over the Q+AL collaboration. And as a song I prefer Sultans of Swing over the The Show Must Go On.
Dire Straits! Is better than this shit (The Maylors and Adam Lambert)
Enjoy! http://queenremixes-bykacio.blogspot.com/ http://youtube.com/KacioRMX http://www.lastfm.pl/user/Kacio94 http://vimeo.com/kacio94 http://queenphotos.wordpress.com/
Brian and Roger + virtually anyone is better than anything else. And this is the best Queen+ venture ever. It won't get any better than this, IMHO. Dire Straits is fine, but it amazes me that you even compare Brian and Roger to it. Each to their own, I guess. Is there a StraitsZone or something? :)

It's kinda comparing apples to oranges, isn't it? OK, they're both rock, but totally different kinds of acts...........

agreed. however, it's not even the jewel in the DS crown is it?
go deo na hÉireann The best QZ epoch: BG17-00 (Before Gerry 1996-2013)
I always liked Telegraph Road myself! (Incidentally, I live close to Telegraph Road....the same one the song was written about)

Dire Strait used to be one of my five favorite artists, but are no longer in my top 10.

However, Dire Straits is so much better than QAL. However Al has immensely more talent than Freddie ... particularly as a song writer. ;)

I never was crazy about Sultans of Swing, and believe most of Dire Straits other songs are better (including Telegraph Road) ...

Oh, gawd, I loved Three Dog Night. But I'd take Dire Straits over this Leo Sayer penned track in a heartbeat
