No worries Peter :)
For what it's worth, she also recorded the Stirling Uni show - however the tape is severely damaged and likely in need of baking. There's been nothing done with it yet - I think it needs to be professionally looked at, but there's no guarantee it can be saved. I've heard a few seconds of it, but it was really sticky and we didn't want it damaged further.
This is how it´s donne! With respect for the tapes. Thanks a lot for that.
Next time this tape gets played i wanna be in the room, because it might be the last time :-)

The reason it's cut in between songs is that she was trying to save the tape for Mott The Hoople, who she was actually there to see. When she heard the reaction Queen got, she started taping - otherwise, there'd have been no document of it at all.
I love these stories ! Very cool.

Baking usually can do the job. All you need is an oven and a willing tape provider. Fingers crossed.

As far as I know, the taper doesn't really care if it ends up lost or not - but the guy who currently has the tape is scared to just go for the old oven technique. He's looking into getting it done and transferred professionally, but (probably rightly for the time being) will likely use it as a bargaining tool before we see a mass share. I'm definitely not guaranteed a copy (or, at least, wouldn't take it for granted).
I just hope it can be saved and will eventually be circulated :)
