Noooo! Don't listen to just the audio. The video is uploading now. I'm waiting for the full 360 experience!

Brian's voice sounds much the same as it did in Australia. He's doing his best. Roger's still killing it, vocally.

Not bad. I liked Now I'm Here better for the opening. More energetic.[/QUOTE]
I'm not so sure.
The tempo of NIH was pretty slow last year, and One Vision was pretty rocking.
I'd say the OV video was pretty magnificent overall. And Brian nailed the tapping solo - putting one leg on the monitor like John Petrucci.

Save Me guitar solo was nice - '79-81 live solo, then playing the high melody from the multi-layered guitar section, whereas that was always done on keys in the original Queen tours. His tone was fairly different here, as somebody said earlier - we'll see what guitar he was using when the video goes up.

He's using the Red Special. He just has its volume knob down to about 2, which gives it a clean sound.
Lambert does a lovely job on the song, and, dare I say, even sounds a bit like Mercury on the last line.

I love how you see a silhouetted Brian playing the riff for a few seconds before the curtain thing goes up, cool little moment there....
I actually saw Petrucci, Vai, and Satriani years ago......quite the shredfest that was.....:D

Yup. And the doc is heavily involved in the show design too.

Blech. I can stand Petrucci long term, but not the other two. At least Dream Theater have some *songs*. Vai and Satch have very little of that.

It definitely seems like they meant to sing in place of Brian's second guitar solo. If it was just Adam making a mistake on his first live performance of the song (as has happened before), everyone else wouldn't have been so quick to join in singing. The punchier second solo wouldn't have fit the soft tone they were going for throughout the song, anyway.
Thank goodness Adam went down onto the main stage for the latter part of the song, or the Adam-focused person filming that clip probably wouldn't have incidentally captured Brian.

Save Me -- one of Queen's best rock songs, turned into a cheese fest by Queen+. Hard to see how anyone could like this version. It's dull as dishwater.
One Vision -- seeing Brian's shadow/outline behind that curtain raised a few hairs on my arms. The performance though, was also a shadow of former glory. Lambert just does't have the voice for rock songs.

3 minutes into that clip of One Vision and I had to turn it off - a mixture of incredularity, despair, anger and sadness. Thank christ I was lucky enough to see the band live with John & Freddie. No one should leave any of the current shows believing that they have seen "Queen".
