I'm not taking sides on this - but this thread is just crazy!

Seriously Tero, do you ever have anything positive to contribute to this website instead of always attacking people and being such a snarky asshole all the time?

He consistently calls out the elite collectors on their hypocrisy. Just like me and one other person with sharp wit. You have not yet crushed all dissent.

It could be worse ... at least he does not repeatedly encourge people to kill themselves. You, with your depression history should know better.

I don't attack people.
I write very direct messages with valid points, which happen to contradict with your opinions.

If you have a specific example you're concerned with, I'll be happy to discuss it with you. (Publicly or privately.)

I think that If you publicly scrap the idea of pressing your own low-cost bootleg for you and your friends, you'll prove once and for all that you only cared about the money anyway.[/QUOTE]

Erm. If I only cared about the money, surely I would still have some bootlegs made and sell them for a bit more than cost.

No one in England wants to make 50 copies. They all want to do a minimum of 100 but charge for minimum of 1000 covers! One company quoted me nearly £5000 for 100 vinyls.

That still doesn't detract from the fact that the bootlegging firms who are geared up for this will now have a copy of the concert and I'm sure they'll already be working on getting it out.
I can't even approach one of them now with my copy and get 5 free CD presses back as payment (which is how Wardour and Tarantura work).

I may as well walk away and not have the hassle and let it bother me.

It literally took me a less than a minute to google a website, and fill out the details in a calculator which gives me a quote of $1200 for the minimum order of 300 finished 12" vinyls in plain sleeves. (Or double the price with jackets.)

Don't tell me that £50 per disc is the lowest quote you can find.
