I'm just glad that I have the originals of 'Fun in Space' and 'Strange Frontier' on vinyl.

Haven't listened to the newer workings of them so not aware of the issues.

Huh. Why Don't We Try Again is, imo, one of the best Brian ballads... And China Belle has those sick riffs. And that whole album is like... Brian's voice at its best, isn't it?

I prefer original issues, not reeditions. About Fun On Earth, i´m sure 1981 release not got any digital recording system... Now 2015 ones surely it´ll got. For that i prefer the original ones.
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends... ("The Miracle", Queen, 1989)

With this material currently only available in the 10 CD/1 DVD collection The Lot, this is the first time versions of the individual albums will be offered outside of that package.

[/QUOTE] Umm, The Lot have 12 CD / 1 DVD.

I have both albums on original japanese and american vinyl pressing.
I also have them on CD and I do have The Lot too.
But I'll be buying these re-releases, because they're coloured vinyls ;)

Whoa, someone doesn't like Why Don't We Try Again? I mean, I get not liking Cyborg or China Belle, and I'm not too fond on Wilderness (though I haven't listened to it in years), but Why Don't We Try Again is one of Brian's best ballads, and that's saying a lot, considering how many he's written over the years.

True point but what does this have to do with Roger?

Did Fun on Earth get a vinyl release? Also, any idea on the price of the coloured vinyl for these reissues?

I've done a video sometime ago for this release that'll appear on the Rare Shares YouTube channel at some point.

I am sure that after these releases, Omnivore has in its plans the following:

- The Cross compilation

- 3 Cross albums re-released in digi-pack packaging with bonus tracks

- Happiness & Electric Fire re-released in digi-pack packaging with bonus tracks

I'd be momentarily peeved at the scarcity and value of my copy being wiped out, but if there were ever a Roger album that deserved a vinyl re-issue it is Blue Rock. A new generation of Queen fans deserve the chance to own that on vinyl.
