I think Freddie would have said: "Oh, shit, all that crap again?"

I agree!
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

Whinge whinge bloody whinge. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I for one will be buying it.

I collect vinyl and will therefore be buying. Doesn't mean I have to like the extortionate price though.
I've looked into vinyl prices and 1000 copies (of 4 LPs in full colour sleeves and one 12" in a full sleeve like these are), at 180gm vinyl is approx of £11,000.
You go work out how much it costs to produce this boxset. No more than £15 per unit I reckon when you take into account the box as well.
£75 sale price is one hell of a mark up.
My feelings are that this should cost no more than £45 - £50.
QPL are just being plain greedy again.
I bet the band are taking £10 profit each from the sale (that's £40 straight away)

I wanted a full-size version of the album cover, I'm obviously not going to pay this stupid joke of a price to get it. Oh yeah, there's also a lossless copy of the Orbit Mix, yea, don't care.

Record companies will always charge the biggest mark up they can on any project. I think this is being aimed at serious vinyl collectors rather than the everyday fan. Still no excuse. I won't be buying it and I am a vinyl collector!

Boy there are some pathetic criebabies in this topic...

If you don't like the item or the way it's priced, don't buy it.

Simple.

Or wait for amazon. They are always cheaper :)

It's good for people who want to hear lossless 24/96 tracks, the same as with Rainbow vinyl.... but what one should think of this product after Brian said that if it was up to him [Queen Forever] would've been an EP with 3 new tracks.
So couldn't they just release 3-new tracks + Orbit mix on vinyl ?

Well, what do you think is positive about this re-release? The whinging is more than justified, it seems to me, especially after such a long time of more or less the same thing happening with Queen releases.

Haha. Yeah. I thought the same after seeing the same fans reuse that quote again, as well as after seeing the sane fan reusing it to rebuff the same fans that are said "whinebags", using said quote with regard to another repetitious catalogue rereelease in vinyl format.

Even formed a mental picture of it with the same fans showing resentment and yet OTHERS wishing that said talk of repeating said quote would end, when regarding new releases of old material on said forum, by said user.

Redundancy? Check.

At least it costs less than the promotional fundraiser vinyl issue.

Hardly any wonder why queen productions refrain from releasing anything when they are subjected to criticism with anything they do..

As my first post says, if you don't like it don't buy it.

Perhaps you can prevent "poor releases" by not buying it. Maybe poor sales of this item will send them a message?

As a serious queen collector this release appeals to me.

Whingebags should button it.
