What the fuck is the sick, morbid fascination some of you(a scarily large amount of you) seem to have with Freddie's illness all about?
It really vexes me. Seems to be the usual mob most of the time too, you know the type, no interest in any of the uploads in the sharing forum or articles or interesting stories that are posted here. Dying to see a video of Fred made a few short weeks before he died though, obsessed with finding out what day exactly Freddie caught Aids. I mean, what the fuck are you on? You sad sick cunts.
Brian had hepatitis in 1974 and I'm sure Roger had a severe chest infection in 1980, why don't we have hundreds of threads about that?
Question: Where and when did Freddie catch Aids? Answer: None of your fucking business, you sick cunt.
Question: Where did Freddie shoot his last interview on video so I can have a good look at him and feel sorry for him, yet sickly satisfied at the same time because lets be honest he fucking owes that to me because I bought his music. Answer: You are sick in the head and as disgusting as the photographers from the gutter press who camped outside Logan Place and stuck their cameras in Fred's bathroom window.
Fuck off with your sad, pathetic, repetitive, sick, twisted posts about Freddie and his illness, you are disgusting people.
Don't beat around the bush mate. How do you really feel about it?

I accept some of your critics - no doubt sometimes the stuff is going way too far. But on the other hand it`s a coin with two sides. Who dares the Doros/QP to do such a statement ? Who dares Brian, Mary Austin, Jim Hutton and an almost endless list of people to give interviews with more and more details about his condition in the last years. The people of his inner circle became snitches. Do you expect that the fans have a higher moralic standard ?

I respect that sentiment, I wholly understand that all of the above could answer the above questions, but lets be honest, why the fuck should they? It's nobodies business, so back to my point, why the fuck is it so important to people? Why are "fans" so obsessed with seeing footage or images of Fred so near to death? Why do people need a name and date for Fred's illness?
Voyeurism.
There are many people on this forum who are quite sick.

It's basically because people are interested in the personal details of very famous public people, and even more so if they're fans of their music. The same happened with Michael Jackson, especially regarding his face and the whole child abuse thing. With MJ it was even worse than with Freddie, because MJ lived in the age of the internet. Sometimes I wonder whether, if Freddie were alive now, some dick would try to unearth some scandalous thing or things which he did. Just look at the Cliff Richard case.
I agree that it's misplaced and unhealthy. But many of the people here who ask these questions are actually very loyal fans who have a huge, huge amount of respect for Freddie. You are justified though to say that over-indulgence and obsession, like looking at photos for spots, can be rightly said to be going over the line.

The most depressing part is that MJ was innocent and up to this day, many people still considers him a child molester...

I'm kind of split about MJ. I respect and admire him as an artist and performer. But I do think that he was a very disturbed individual. If he was harmless or not, I'm not quite sure. What we know is that he was found innocent in 2005, and was never found guilty in any court of law. All the rumours and allegations might be false. But I still think he might have been involved in activities which involved children, which were not always completely innocent activities.
But yeah, the poor guy was hounded all his life. I'm sure that had a lot to do with the way he felt and the way he conducted his personal life.

What a whiner. Some people just have a morbid fascination. Deal with it and jog along.

Meh, I think it's okay for people to want to know, historically, roughly when he contracted the illness, and then when he found out about it - it's not just morbid curiosity, it's a way of knowing when and how it started to affect his life and music, which is obviously important to us. Of course, for some people, it is just morbid curiosity.

I think, for most people is SYMPATHETIC curiosity if there is such a thing
