I always suspected stuff like that, especially after watching WWRY/LIVE IN MONTREAL.

Bad obvious mixes. Felt that some guitar parts were altered as well from my vhs copy to dvd.
Don't forget that there are two nights to pull material from. I've listened to the audience tape, and everything seems to line up. Would you prefer them to have fixed the mistakes in Dragon Attack? Because they didn't.

The only major guitar overdub on any Queen live album is the opening solo in One Vision on Budapest. That's been in there since the 1987 VHS.
Pretty disingenuous but eh... it's what they do.

Why call it LIVE though?
Live albums have had overdubs for ages - it's not just Queen. In fact, the list of live albums without overdubs is very small.

Even if there aren't overdubs, there are mixing issues. What if the room wasn't the best sounding room and there were level and EQ issues depending on where you were sitting? Would you want those issues to be on a live album too, or should the album be listenable?

Haha yes I know. With Priest's UNLEASHED IN THE EAST facetiously referred to as UNLEASHED IN THE STUDIO.

70's albums, I'm willing to bet there was a fair to NEAR COMPLETE use of studio recordings (albeit rough recordings) mixed with white noise crowds.

I don't remember hearing quite the same amount of discrepancies with my 80's SCORPIONS/UFO albums however.

But then again, those haven't been as well documented as have queen performances by you all ofthis community

Blunders don't always ruin songs.

Imagine Aerosmith using CGI to fix Steve Tyler's fall offstage a few years ago. Instead, ILM fixes it so that he flies over the crowd. ....or Greedo shoots first.

Greedo shooting first or last implies that he ever got a chance to shoot... Which he didn't ;) Watch the original 1977 version, only Han gets to shoot, which is establishing him as a reckless badass.

Woah, how did we drift from Magic tour Wembley to Star Wars? :D

Greedo didn't shoot first. He didn't shoot at all, Han fried his green ass.

Me aged 10 would be right into this thread!

With that in mind, let me equate live album overdubbing with building some cool mid 80s technics Lego.
