I didn't want to do anything with it but when I did some tests I found it's a very good video for stabilizing. And thought - why not?
There is some cropping due to stabilizing but I believe none of the important information in the shot is lost.
I also reduced the heavy grain and removed the duplicates and made it real 25 FPS with interpolation so that it looks a bit smoother in motion.
What I ended up with I believe is almost as good as a pro video now. Maybe not really, but now it looks smoother and more steady and a bit cleaner. Some of you might prefer the original though - it looks more like a handheld camera and makes you think you're there, it's more raw (obviously).
This is a slightly different representation of this amazing super 8 mm source. I hope you will find it as a good alternative.
The grain is still there although it's not nearly as strong. The youtube video is not an accurate representation due to compression.

Thank you Chief for another carefully processed video.
I only watched the original one several days ago and here you present us with a more stabilized version already.
I admire your passion and your skills in this fields, I'm lucky to benefit by it.
By the way, I took a look at the 2 youtubes in your signature, and they are beautiful.
Thanks for letting me appreciate more of Queen's music.

It's exactly the same. VLC doesn't display it correctly.
For some reason there are glitches with MPEG-2 files in VLC, for example Antiden's files which skip and according to VLC run about 5 seconds.

Both VLC AND format factory are showing your mkv as 7.02 but the original vob share was 6:48
