Thanks for sharing your work. I notice it runs about 14 seconds longer now though?
It's exactly the same. VLC doesn't display it correctly. For some reason there are glitches with MPEG-2 files in VLC, for example Antiden's files which skip and according to VLC run about 5 seconds.
Both VLC AND format factory are showing your mkv as 7.02 but the original vob share was 6:48
The original share was 7:03. My version has only lost 1 second somewhere. I didn't make it nor slower nor faster nor cut anything. VLC and format factory are wrong, sorry.

Thanks, I'm sorry you are correct.
The problem goes if I demux the original vob and make it again (it then shows 7.03)
I think you clipped the last second from the original file (with white screen and red line) which is why your mkv is 7.02

And this, folks, is a textbook example of why things need to be shared.
When put into the right hands, documents of music history can be enjoyed as they were intended to be.
Thanks for the hard work of everyone involved.

Thank you Chief, this was my first ever Queen concert I saw.....I went for the group, but one bloke had mesmerized the whole evening: Brian May. Those effects, the sounds, had that night a feeling which lays beyond any belief. Even the word awesome doens't capture my feelings. Again thank you!

Great work. Thanks!
What program did you use for stabilizing?

Virtualdub for stabilizing itself, Avisynth for frame interpolation from 18 FPS to 25 FPS.

DeShaker?

Yeah.
DepeX · Member since
And... another little technical question :-) Is there a way to do that "interpolation" work using VIRTUALDUB? Thanks in advance!
Chief Mouse · Member since
Not as far as I know. Perhaps Twixtor or something similar can do something like that - I haven't used it. I think it's available for After Effects and Vegas Pro.

Thanks! Kind as usual ;-)

Thank you Chief, this is another great work.
It looks stunning!
I´m usually not a fan of fan made videos of the 70´s other than for historical reasons, but it´s impossible not to like this one. The colours are so beautiful, and now with your work in stabilizing the picture, it looks wonderful.
