Time After Time bass line resemblance?? Or just simple coincidence??

Hi friends..Dont bother if this thread is stupid for you but just want your opinions..so...
When Cyndi Lauper sings in the song Time After Time "If you fall I will catch you...." just listen to that bass line. . It reminds me so close to the song TATDOOL when Freddie sings "those were the days of our lives"....
I just think there is some tiny similiraty..
Hehe I dont listen to Cyndi Lauper tho but I just ran into the song.
Sorry from my Queenie heart that i brought Freddies name close to Cyndi Lauper. Its blasfemy to me.
But to be honest in Cyndi Lauper I think she is underated cos she has crazy voice..its really top class vocal in my opinion.

I for one always enjoy your posts Mr Mouth, enthusiasm like yours is just what we need here. The song does have a similar feel to TDOOL, being built around bass and percussion, and some off the bass runs reminds me a bit of Deacon, although they don't have the same delicacy because they're electronic.

Mr Mouth, don't worry with that Mooghead (who musn't have a sexual life so he comes here to feel like a man by bullying others) he's mentally challenged. Most likely a simple coincidence would be my guess........

I've noticed that kind of thing with other songs plenty of times before! The guitar riff in the chorus of Hammer To Fall is very similar to Crazy Train, to name one example....

I agree - Mr.Mouth is indeed such a nice and polite guy - some people are a bit to brash in their communication in general, but should probably at least try to be a bit nicer with a guy like Mr.Mouth.
