Probably was.

He seems to be the stupidest member of the band, by far. In terms of intellect.

Bit of a sweeping statement. He managed to get in to a decent university to do a degree in Biology, Presumably he needed some intellect for that.

I've always thought he comes across as thoughtful and intelligent. He does however have a tendency to be very dismissive of things that don't interest him, which maybe how you came by your very different opinion.

Or you are trolling, I cant decide which. So if it is a troll, well done, it's a good one because I responded.

Yeah but discosucks didn't say 'Roger has no intellect'. It was only implied that the others' intellect is far superior than his (I'm not saying I agree or disagree with that, by the way).

A 6 ft man can be the shortest member of a basketball team and that doesn't make him a dwarf. Freddie himself wasn't a dwarf but he was the shortest band member in terms of height. John Deacon's not a baby but he's the youngest Queen member. Roger Taylor's not fat, let alone obese, but he was possibly the band's heaviest member, at least at some point.

So, it's entirely possible that the four Queenies are clever enough that whoever 'the band's stupidest member, in terms of intellect' is/was, he's still intelligent enough to have received a degree in biology, maths and physics, engineering or graphic design.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

My gosh, that was a painful read.

I mean, the most time his answers were 'I don't know', 'No', 'I didn't thought about it earlier', 'No', 'Nothing', 'Maybe', 'No', 'No', etc., 'No'.
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

Good grief, John's answers were as dull as dishwater. He might as well have just not answered the questions, as that would be less frustrating than what I read above.

I was also disappointed by his answer to "What video did you have the most fun filming?" And he said "None of them". One of the reasons I love the video to "Breakthru" is that John looks so happy and appears to really be enjoying himself...but he wasn't? That's a bummer :(

But you're ignoring the fact that 'stupid' invariably has the connotation of an abject lack of intelligence, regardless of who it's in comparison to or what degree of stupidity it is.
