I realized it would be a great thread, thanks to going back to old posts and reading stories (as the story told in the Earls Court thread).

Just post your experience (or experiences, if you were lucky). Sadly, due to my age and country, I've never been in a show. But we would love to read your stories and the context (Ex.: I were with my cousin and he screamed to Fred 'faggot', and then Freddie answered 'fuck off and die you fag', or it you have some anecdote before or after the show.)

I'm sure almost everyone has a story, don't be shy! Come on! :-)

Also, if you have a recording (it doesn't matters if it's 5 min. or 2 hours) of the concert, you have the possibility to share it. Just upload it (in the QZone server) in WAV or FLAC packaged in a .zip.

Yo le zarpé un Rolex a Roger en 2008 en la puerta del hotel, lo vendí por 2000 pesos en la calle Libertad.

Con esa plata compré la discografía de Adam Lambert (en mp3) en el parque Rivadavia.

I went to the first night of the Queen + AL in Chicago. I really was only there to see Roger and Brian obviously. I am not a fan of AL but I guess it was okay. Climaxes of the show were Love of my life when Freddie appeared on screen kind of like he was there, great feeling when that happened. Also loved Roger singing days of our lives and was great to hear Brian singing 39 and bohemian rhapsody was great when They showed Freddie singing! Overall i did have fun. I probably would go again if they tour The US again.

And post pics if you desire! I forgot it! (Tomorrow I'm gonna read them, I'm so crappily tired :/).

I'm not a thinking person now guys, sorry about that.

Ah, I forgot to tell one story:

first time ever seeing Brian in ´93 before the GNR gig. I was floating 5 cms above the floor, in heaven. 2nd row standing in front of stage. In front of him, my idol !! Suddenly, while Brian singing, a couple of bastards started yelling "Freddie´s dead!!" and threw a plastic bottle to him. I faced them, yelled some "kind" words and the fight started within a second. Luckily I was attending the event with a good friend of mine, the typical heavy metal giant dude you woulnd´t like to confront in a dark alley. It took him 5 seconds to won the battle for me. The bastards were thrown away and never saw them afterwards ;-P

Hahaha. I hope the bastards survived your friend. But seriously, what they did to Brian, or to any artists, is down right rude. If I'd been there, I would probably have had some kind words with them too, and then gotten myself beaten to a pulp :D

Se ve que está muy cotizado el Lambertito... / It looks like that Lamberty it's quite high priced...

Decime, ¿cuánto sale la discografía de John Deacon en MIDI? Solo por curiosear. / Tell me, how much does it cost the John Deacon discography in MIDI? Just being curious.

(Yo que vos lo hubiera guardado y vendido después de que su ejecutor se haya podrido.)

First and only time I saw Brian and Roger live was in January when they played the O2 with Adam Lambert. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the show a great deal. I am a die-hard Freddie fan, almost above being a Queen fan, but Adam did a good job I think. It was great to hear Brian's guitar live - it really sounded much better than it does on any live or studio recording. Roger's drumming didn't impress me as much, and Rufus played a good portion of the show instead of him. But, to be honest, just being in the same place with Brian and Roger was enough to make my month.

Before the show I felt a certain kinship with all the other people waiting to enter the arena, whilst buying extremely over-priced beer from the bar. It felt good to finally be close to the band which meant so much to me. It was truly a magical experience for a guy who's been a Queen fan since he was old enough to appreciate music. And it was an almost spiritual experience when they got Freddie on the big screen, singing parts of Bo Rhap - I think they took the clip from Budapest - another clip might have been from Montreal - they only used the 35mm film footage, no Wembley as far as I could see. It feels really great when Freddie comes on screen, and you can hear huge applause from the audience.

We didn't have the best seats, as can be seen from the attached extremely crappy photo which I took with my phone, but it was well worth going. To all those in Argentina and the other South American countries where Queen will be going - if you can go see them, make sure you do.

No, unless they decide to tour again and come to my country, which is unlikely.

Nice post, Costa86 :)
