It wasn't just the a- bomb that created this genre. ... (as it did Godzilla) probably some kind of societal insecurity.... why else would they draw themselves with such exaggeratedly large eyes?

Anime, though an impressive feat. ... usually sucks imho. I don't get it's popularity save for a few suspense thrillers and wanna be James bond flicks
