BTW, even I don't wish to intrude upon you, where is the famous Freddie's speech about cunt before AOBTD? )

Isn't it there? If so, it definitely wasn't intentional, I have to check my source files.
EDIT : Dammit, I forgot they edited the speech for Live Magic :-( I cut during the speech to LM, that's why a part of the speech is missing, sorry for that.
Is there anything else missing? I'll post a corrected CD 1 soon

Just one humble request. If you are going to make another upload of CD 1, could you please edit again ONE VISION.
I mean, could you just use the bootleg source for the tape intro?? and then use the LM source with the correct speed for the rest of the song??
i know there are some overdubs during some parts of the song. But sound a bit odd when it changes the source. I would really appreciate that,
Thanks in advance!

^ It'll be great to share two alternative Track01 versions for everyone to choose.

I didn't plan to do it because it's actually against why I created this "thing", but it was a quick task so I'll add this alternate One Vision. The "fixed" CD3 is done, I'll listen to it and if I won't find any other problems it will be uploaded tomorrow.

Live Magic plays indeed slightly faster. The speed of the audience tape is the same as the speed of the single and the video sources if I remember correctly [/QUOTE]
Audience tapes are analog, so if anything it's those that are the wrong speed.
I'm sure the official release is bang on.
But again, there's Fun In Space on the Roger box set..

I don't know which source plays at the correct speed, but Live Magic plays faster than TYA, plus every Knebworth "segment" plays in a different speed (e.g. One Vision plays in the same speed as TYMD, but in a different speed than BoRhap), but UP and MY run in the (almost ?) same speed as TYA.
Not sure if it makes any sense, it's so f***ing hot here for more than a week and it will be f***ing hot here for at least 1 week longer, I do have serious concentration problems

The 2 Budapest tracks, and the 2 Wembley tracks also play approx. 25 cents too fast, compared to the video releases :) We also know about their earlier experimentation with speeding up recordings to give the performance more "punch"

Don't think Live Magic runs faster for the sake of "punch" (also don't get the correlation between speed and perceived punch).
More likely, has to do with the LP playing time of 47:10. Maybe the approx.1.5% speed increase was made to meet some EMI length limitations from that period, without cutting the material.

There are artists who purposely speed up their songs to produce a bigger impact, take Michael Jackson for example. Songs like Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal were recorded at a tad slower speed than they appear on the albums. And there was a reason for that.
Wasn't Another One Bites The Dust also sped up a bit?
