There's also the obviously terrifying bit of being buried alive. That would be absolutely horrible. It makes drowning and freezing look appealing (*it'd be over quickly)

I guess that would be the worst as you'd suggested above. Falling from a great distance as well. ... but there's the graceful mercy of passing out from fright that would prevent you from further horror.

Who knows what it matters if you're dead. This is a very existential matter.

Being buried alive means you'd suffocate fairly quickly - unless there was a way you'd get air, some sort of pipe leading to whatever you'd been buried in, then you'd have to starve to death whilst being buried alive. That'd be even worse.

The worst way to die is alone, with nobody to love you or care about you in the world - that's in terms of emotional pain.

In terms of physical, I'd say surviving a nuclear accident and its radioactive consequences for a few weeks would be amongst the worst. Read about Hiroshi Ouchi. But don't see the pictures. No matter what, don't see the pictures.

The notion he was kept alive for 83 DAYS is disgusting.
Hell. Strap some dynamite ALL AROUND THE BED and roll it into a field. In hope that he feels nothing more when it goes off.

How horrible. That's fucking revolting that he'd have been kept alive after his organs liquefied... is there some strange Japanese law regarding something like that? ... I'm certain they took measures to keep him alive but for what?
