who care's about that...[/QUOTE]

People, like I do, who think a little bit futher about the way Brian, Roger and QP present themselves in the Media. Of course, Qp has to make their own decisions at the end.

But it's just not right to say comments like :

"Rio 85 was very special for us, the audience siging with 'Love of my Life' really touched us and paved the way for the rest of our shows in South America. Blah, blah , blah.

"We look at every show on itself and throw in some suprises as non of the shows are the same"; blah blah blah .....

And when it comes to the result:

* wembley 86 footage at 'Rock in Rio'?
* same setlist over and over again (with Ghost town as Non Queen track)

So I can imagine people see Brian and Roger looked bored during this short American tour.

So who cares? : I do!

Real Queen fans, like us, who follow every concert, dig vídeos on the internet, keep up with setlist changes etc, yes, we do think like you do.

But for the South American press and non-diehard admirers, Queen had been "dead" for quite some time now. Many things we take for granted and pretty much expect to see at their concerts were a big novelty.

While for us seeing Freddie from Wembley during LOML and Freddie from Montreal on BoRhap, it was all over the news here, everybody talking about how beautiful and moving it was to see Freddie leading a singalong at Rock in Rio once more.

I think it's great to see so much positive press coverage about Queen, but I assume this will make them even lazier: they've been doing this for years, sharing vídeos on social networks and yet they're still treated as big news. Why change?

People on TV, newspapers and social networks have talked more about Freddie on the screen than about Ghost Town, which was the real news for us fans.
We got the Cosmos rockin'! We got the Cosmos rockin'! We got the Universe rockin'! We got the Cosmos rockin'! We got the Cosmos rockin' to the mighty power of rock'n'roll!

Yeah true on that... good point actually. So may I concluded it's all about commercial benefits, succes, money (who writes the song gets the checques) etc?

Even after all these years since Queen + Glambert formed, and probably this may be their final tour, you choose commercial songs above a few rarer songs for the fans who kept up with Queen since the seventies and support them all the way through.

Yeah... I am perhaps 'the negative creep', but isn't this what makin music is all albout. Be inspired, take a few risks to motivate yourself, keeps your mindset fresh etc.
You made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel like we could fly!

Actually I just check social media -- and on Google Searches, Twitter, Google News and Facebook posts -- the topic rank since QAL started the SA Tour is the same:

1. Adam Lambert
2. Ghost Town
3. Freddie Mercury (almost tied with 2b but lower)

way below -- Brian May, Roger Taylor.

Queen is hard to track because it is such a common word.

****

Personally, I could pass on the whole Freddie video thing but it is crowd pleasing. Perhaps it is because I have seen QAL about 30 times and I think the shows that did not have it (like iHR 2013 and iHR 2014 Tour Preview) were better for the absence of the 2D video and not-live vocals. I loved Freddie live but the recording just makes me sad -- and it is a pale imitation of the real thing.
