I don't even really care about full unreleased songs anymore, kind of given up on them completely. Worst case scenario no 'anthology' project will ever see the light of day but probably the hardcore collectors will go on sharing unheard material until there's nothing left.

The Hangman acetate for instance, if it really does exist, sooner or later is probably going to be shared. There is demand and there is the internet and people can't keep those in a vault forever.

We have had enough songs confirmed to make for an interesting release that could be as successful as the Beatles Anthologies if promoted well. Sail Away Sweet Sister (Freddie lead vocal), Rock It (same as SASS), early version of I Go Crazy (I don't Want to be a Rolling Stone or something similar) with Bowie which has been described as a worthy follow up to Under Pressure, Man Made Paradise, Man on Fire. A humorous version of Staying Power with the lyrics altered to Fucking Power. I would lovers hear the Queen demos of Love Kills, More To Life, etc. There will be heaps of interesting alternative takes of well known songs, early versions with different lyrics, discarded demo's no doubt unworthy of anything but being released as is but still interesting. I Guess We're Falling Out, Self Made Man, Face it Alone etc etc all deserve an official release set out in chronological order. A decent at of linear notes detailing the recording date, studio, reason why things were changed, never progressed, never released etc. throw in some decent studio banter for good measure. I don't anticipate or particularly want new complete tracks, I appreciate we're almost certainly had all we can expect. This has been discussed many times over the years and the subject will keep popping up for years to come. Maybe we'll get lucky eventually, fingers crossed.
