I don't know, I think John might actually see the funny side of this.
The funny side is, he's virtually unknown these days except to Queen fans and some more enthusiastic music lovers.
It's not news - John Deacon walking down the street is not news. Queen have been touring for 3 years without John this time round, and 3 years with PR without John 10 years ago.
I think he might just go home and say 'Look Veronica, kids, Dad's still famous enough to get a bit of press these days. Now, fancy a Pizza Hut or a Chinese tonight?'

At least I don't feel so self conscious about being 28 and bald haha starting at 19..... My number one "character" is bald like me haha (a word that Queens number one fans the Japanese people would use "who's your favorite character...?") Trying to imagine him now on the four strings... I'm first in line for ONE OF HIS Bass GUITARS MATT!!!!!! Sunburst Fender Precision used on live at the rainbow IS MINE.....

How I would love to hear John's side of the story. A shame he never gives any interviews.

I think John's reclusive behaviour has just added to the Deacon mystique. Queen fans get thrilled every time there is some news of John. Brian and Roger give numerous interviews and are active on social media, and it is all just meh... But a tiny little snippet about John, and we are trying to read all kinds of meaning into it, or passionately defending him.
It reminds me a bit of the thrill I used to get playing Where's Waldo when I was kid, and I actually spotted Waldo.

I agree. John should be left alone. He can't even leave his house in Putney without being photographed.[/QUOTE]
well... this is only like the THIRD photographic "incident" since his retirement that isn't from a public ENTERTAINMENT event (I just realized that John Deacon walking down the street technically qualifies as a public event)
It's not like he's really being harassed AFAIK
Maybe it was an effort to get his "commentary" on the QP+ALL stuff again...it's timed well with the ROCK IN RIO bit.

i think if someone asked John Deacon what he thought of Maylor and Adam Lambert touring as Queen, he'd say he wasn't bothered.

Queen Productions would release these sightings on DVD / SD Blu ray, but there are not quite enough extras at present.
