Freddie is dead
Brian and Roger play with a casting show boy in a cover band called Queen+
The only one behaving like a true legend is John, but he is not Queen

Kind of ironic that the only legend amongst them is not living. Unless someone performed a resurrection which I wasn't aware of.

"Including Brian May and Adam Lambert."
Really??

Oh God, even Gerry (under another user) posted in this thread!
Now, I cant see what's the problem.
Yes, they included Adam, which is not part of Queen, but its a irrelevant mistake that everybody could make. I mean, when someone talks about bands like Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper band, etc, people usually think in the most recent lineup (there are exceptions, of course!)
So, besides that mistake, what's wrong with the award or the article in the attachment?

The fact that Queen are receiving a "Living Legend" award now, when the member who made them legendary has been dead for 24 years?

Brian and Roger are also legendary though.

Are you trying to say that Brian, John and Roger are/were irrelevant to the band's success?
This is not Creedence Clearwater Revival, where John Fogerty was the one calling the shots. Last time I checked, the 4 members had huge hits and a huge input both in a musical and business level.

Last time I checked two of them ruined the reputation of one of the greatest rock bands ever by playing with a Nobody as an imitator of their legendary frontman.
