On Queenonline there's a link to an interview with Jim Jenkins.
In this interview Jim mentions a documentary that will be shown during the upcoming Fanclub Convention with unseen interviews and unseen footage, including Queen performing "Imagine".
Very cool that there's footage of the band performing this song!

Yep. From Frankfurt 1980. Sikke shared this information a while ago on Facebook.

pro shot footage? complete performance?

Very nice that it's Frankfurt. Way better performance than the London version of Imagine (the day after John Lennon was killed).
I also wonder whether this is pro footage or filmed from the audience.
Hopefully someone can shed a light on this :-)

Well, he mentioned it's pro shot. I guess those who attend will find out.

Oh. From what I remembered it should be an audience film which the owner asked too much money when they wanted to release it, but my memory is far from good so I'm definitely not going to argue :-)

Well... according to Greggie Brooks there was nothing special in the archive. Did I miss something there....private collector?

Yes. Apparantly a private collector and the showing at Convention will be the ONLY time it's ever shown (I gather)

With "property of Queen Productions" stickers all over the image, so you wont be able to see a thing.

I don't think Greg Brooks is a 100% trustworthy source on what is in the archive or not. Supposedly there is still a lot of stuff that hasn't been labelled yet.
So they will play the audience 8mm, but what about the audio? Will they use their own archives ?

It was just what I got out of interviews this/last year with Gary Taylor and Greg Brooks, when asked about their day-to-day activities at the Queen Towers.
