It's ridiculous if they haven't already finished documenting and archiving what was already in the archives - that exercise started over 20 years ago. Especially when you consider the supposed comprehensive list that Greg released here a few years back of shows in the archive that could virtually be counted by anyone with a full set of fingers and toes. I can understand continuing work to locate and obtain footage from new sources such as overseas tv and radio stations etc... but the archiving of what was already there should be something completed long, long ago.

So what are the chances us folks here can ever see this, if it's just going to be shown publicly the one time at the convention?

He doesn't work exclusively for QP 24/7 and when they moved from EMI to Universal, EMI handed over 4,500 tapes that needed going through.

[/QUOTE]Well, let's hope there's some good stuff on those tapes.
Being a concert enthusiast I especially hope they have by now found all the tapes (audio and video) from Hammersmith 26/12/1979. It's the best filmed concert for me so it should be available in the best possible quality and most complete form. It'd be so mindblowingly good....

What? Only those who are attending the Convention will see it? What a letdown.
