I see your point about Orbit's version being poor from a musical point of view. Even I, with absolutely no musical training, can hear that something went wrong with the mixed keys or whatever. Overall, I like to listen to it, though.

We made an 'album' with the two nonMJ new tracks, six of Freddie's solo tracks from that era, Brian's 'Let Me Out' Roger's 'It's An Illusion', and give it a spin every month or two.
A nice little treat that we like. Would have made a good B+ Queen album.

I like the Orbit mix. If I'm honest, I probably prefer it to the other version. But that;s probably because Fred's vocals are near indestructible, and the video is amazing.

He meant that he burnt a CD with those songs in that order.

Thanks BETA, I thought for a second that there is a release planned and we weren't aware of it. The most interesting part in Orbit mix is the acapella section and the guitar from 4:25-4:30 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCbxTTW_B0A) Is it present on the official Queen version ?

What's the footage at 2:00 - 2:06 (Freddie on the piano)?[/QUOTE]
Looks like the Shepperton studios rehearsal footage from November 1977.

@Gooddrills and others: Thanks for your thoughts, I kinda like it too - some bits and parts are better than others, but overall it's a nice, fresh (still) song.
