For those who went to the fanclub convention: were there any interesting revelations?
Or hints by Brooks or anyone about future projects?

And, what was the "Imagine" video like?

Thanks in advance for any useful report :-)

Only snippet I've seen so far is that Brian announced via a video message that Q&AL will be active again in 2016

I believe Hyde Park 76 is being considered for release next year. From what I could gather it's being researched at present to see if it's a viable release in full or in conjunction with Houston. Greg Brookes seems to talk in riddles tho and doesn't give too much away

Greg does sometimes seem to make out that he is more important to the process than he is; yes he makes the band and Jim aware of what exists in the archives, and then makes suggestions for releases, but has no say in what actually gets released. His input after that on releases is essentially limited to labelling tracks with the wrong title, getting facts wrong in write ups, and ensuring that the final product is proof checked for other inaccuracies to a level that would leave Helen Keller in disbelief.

Standing ovation!
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

If they have to mix two different releases that leaves two questions.

 a) Are the tapes of Hyde Park really damaged, as Jackie Smith said?

b) They have the multitracks for Houston?

Of course it can be i'm overthinking this and they are simply bored of releasing things without Rock You and Champions.

Does including Houston with Hyde Park imply that Earls Court would not be released later?

Earls court both nights plus Houston package in 2017 please!

I'd settle for Hyde Park SD blu ray and CD next year.

What's the score with 'Imagine'? is anyone going to comment?

On the contrary, that means 1977 / 2017 is reserved for Earl's Court. And maybe they want to add Houston to the shorter Hyde Park?

In case there are no surprises (Empire Pool '78) i still think the order should be:

2016 Hyde Park
2017 Earl's Court
2018 Houston

Why would Houston be 2018?

Only 3 cameras used to film I gather, so I suspect there may be some "dodgy" shots that may not be acceptable to the band (It's such a long time since I watched it), which would necessitate (in their eyes), the possible removal of songs!

QPL are TOO focused on perfection because lets face it, the fans don't really care too much as long it looks good and sounds good.

It was an pencil drawn animation set to the audience recording. NOT proper video footage.

Great news!
As long as they have future live projects Roger and Brian will keep focused in being in shape. And i think it´s about time Brian and Roger hit the studio to make some new music.

Great news. North American fans are literally begging for more, hope they do a few Euro dates too. As you all know I'm a massive fan of this collaboration and I hope it continues for as long as possible.
Arse.
