Possible Hyde Park 40th Anniv. Release?

Was the Hyde Park show also broadcasted on Capital Radio at the time? Perhaps there are some good audio masters at their archive...

Like we saw at Live Aid the orginal tapes QP had were in bad condtion. MTV provided the complete masters they had including the Queen segment.

From what I've heard Greg hinted at the convention that the audio is the problem. Not that any of us would care. I'd buy the Hyde Park DVD even if the audio would be from the old video master or even one of the audience recordings.

The trouble with QPL is they want to work from the multitracks.
Personally, if they've got a good stereo mix, they should maybe use that instead and then they can present us with the entire gig.
That said, if they're concerned about presenting a "quality" feature presentation, then they can stick out their 1 hour edit in 5.1 sound from the multi's and then put the excised bits on with whatever sound track they have as BONUS material.
It's NOT hard, is it?!

You Take My Breath Away sounds fine in the 2011 remasters. I always thought the problem with Hyde Park was the videotapes, and now is the sound?

It could be that or Knebworth Park. Any of those 2 gigis would be greatly welcome since they've never been released.

No, he didn't mention the audio or video but he did said that it was investigated and that the band had Hyde Park in consideration.

I very much hope that Hyde Park will be release by next autumn on DVD/SD-BD..likely by october-november 2016. Also there will be some audio stuff on few CD's, and some extra bonuses for box set. Let's wait..time will tell.
