That is great footage! Thank you for posting it.
It was such a magical day. I hope Queen are releasing the complete audio next year, coupled with all the footage they have in the archives.

Agree! The bottom of the stage camera and the far left camera! Man I hope we get to see full Queen Knebworth footage one day!

Somebody linked it months ago.
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

So this means that the cameras WERE rolling that day. Intresting thing. Therefore QPL should have the footage from each camera and not just the jumbotron mix as Brian mentioned more than a decade ago.

Queen's show at Knebworth was NOT filmed on tape. Cameras were there for various purposes, but none were there to properly record the entire concert. I don't know why this keeps getting forgotten.

The video was shared here some months ago and no, it has nothing to do with Queen. This was shot as a "documentary" about Status Quo - they did 3 concerts that day and a film crew was shooting bits of them. The only Queen footage which was shot were One Vision on video for a TV report, and at least the second half of the gig (Is This The World - God Save The Queen) were filmed on 16mm film by DoRo (seen in many DoRo documentaries and promo videos)

To bad I never got a full response from Rudi about Knebworth in how much he actually filmed! All he told me was "quite a lot"

WRONG, the doro crew(at least one camera) started recording since the minute 0:00. Check out 03:30/03:40. That is the same spot in Radio Gaga and The world we created.

So they probably recorded one vision and on.
Regarding the tapes in the camcorders we will only know once they decide to release whatever they have.
I remember that i was quite surprised when they released the first wembley night footage some years ago. They never revealed a bit of it, not even in documentaries, until 2003. The only footage we had from the 1st wembley up until then was from doro in their documentaries.

Then we have contradictions from Brian and Confirmation from G.B saying that footage from the big screen exists, which is what Brian originally said almost a decade ago now.

Right now we should be happy they are working on the hyde park gig. At some point we will have Knebworth. Just hope we are still around by the time it happens.

What tape in what camcorders? Are you referring to the huge cameras that were used to feed the screen? They only did just that; feed the screen. No one recorded the feed.

As for Hyde Park... Nothing is confirmed. We're all simply speculating and hoping that they're working on, and planning, to release Hyde Park next year. That's all it is. Speculation.

Yes I suppose. It would be amazing to have it all recorded, but if we don't, we just don't.

Knebworth is important because it was the last show Freddie played, however three other gigs (or part of) are available from that tour. Is another really needed.

I think the 80's gigs, except for the Works, have been well documented. What hasn't and hopefully will be is the mid to late 70's.

Well..... If they want want to release another Magic show, they have recorded Maine Road, Slane and Mannheim.... that was stated by Greg here on this very forum in the Live archive topic almost ten years ago....

As for the Works... hmm I'd love to see all the material recorded during the Brussels gig, even with two-track raw soundboard tape...
