Hi everybody. Maybe most of you have seen this by now on Queenonline.com but there is a brand new documentary coming on the 18th of december on BBC4. I know, there are many documentaries aired in the past and some of them covered the same footage over and over again. Days Of Our Lives was the best one. But the new documentary titled "From Rags To Rhapsody" sounds very promising. This is the content:

- Unseen rushes from Keep Yourself and Liar videos 1973 (Queen’s first videos)
- Unreleased interviews with the band conducted by Bob Harris from 1977 - remastered from film to HD.
- Queen’s first ever TV interview 1975 - recently discovered in Australia.
- Now I’m Here Live on Top of the Pops 1975 - Missing believed wiped, broadcast here for the first time.
- Live performances from Hyde Park ’76, The Rainbow ‘74 and Hammersmith ‘1975.
- The original demo of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and studio outtakes - unheard, until now.
Produced and Directed by Simon Lupton and Rhys Thomas - Edited by Christopher Bird

Knowing now that Rhys Thomas and Simon Lupton have produced makes me very happy as they did the "Days Of Our Lives" documentary as well. Hopefully it will be released on dvd/blu-ray in the future. Anyway, this is gonna be good!

It'll probably go unnoticed as it's 'Mad Friday' on the 18th in the UK!

Just a reminder to those in the UK, who are not going out drinking, that this documentary is on tonight at 10pm GMT.

What the hell is "Mad Friday"?
Everyone seems to know what it is except me who, in all his 44 years of being an Englishman, has never heard of it until today!

Is it some more bollocks that's come over from America like "Trick or Treat" and "Black Friday" ?????

Apparently it only started being called "Mad Friday" these last couple of years. But obviously been a long standing tradition to hold office/work Xmas parties on the last Friday before Christmas.

Our party was on Monday (probably the worst possible day), so nothing exciting happening for me.

Christmas spirit is best found in spirits it seems.

Do you know. Now you've said that, it used to be called "Black Friday", but obviously that name is now associated with a sales day a month earlier courtesy of the Bloody Americans. No wonder it didn't click with me.

Wonder what rubbish of theirs will be imported over here next?
It really should be Great Britain celebrating the 4th of July each year - Independence from America!

More commonly becoming known as 'Black Eye Friday'

I've been out drinking (4 pints of Blue Moon wheat beer, and I didn't think it too many) but am home now and will record the fecker.
But how to get it from my Sky box to the wonderfully grateful people of Queenzone...?
