The rehearsal for Innuendo would be fascinating to see - it'd presumably be a better performance than the actual one. It'd also mean two publicly available live renditions of Innuendo, whereas we currently have one.

I think it is also possible they had some technical problems at the tribute... maybe with the monitors or something like this.

Bollocks. Plant was atrocious. There out of obligation. He fucked up the whole thing by making those stupid noises out of his stupid face. It fucks me off big time how this person ever made a living out of music.

^ unless you're an eternal pessimist loathing everything about life, this is about as good as it gets.

Plant was touch and go from 73 to the early 90s, but in the last 20 years he has been spot on every night. And his last half dozen records are excellent.

Based on that footage I would agree. It is actually better than the tribute performance.

No idea if it showed on TV because its not on any of the official releases, but in the stadium there was no working vocal mic for most of Innuendo, so it's difficult to know if he was any good or not as we couldn't hear him.
CLT seemed an odd choice though.
